Sandy Wauye is a Kenyan based painter and illustrator. She is an emerging artist who has been honing her painting skills working in oil, gouache and pastels.
Her work is inspired by everyday African people and how they connect with nature and the spaces around. She believes that there is a surplus of depraved stories and images of Africa that hugely influence people's perceptions, including Africans themselves.
Her mission as an artist is to share the magic and happiness in African people and share beautiful African stories.
