Day 18: Victoria N. Thuo

Victoria N.Thuo, popularly referred to as Blaine 29 is a visual artist based in Nairobi. She specializes in Painting, graffiti/Murals.

Her subjects are expressed in a colourful way and in a graphic format. Her work is inspired greatly by human psychology and emotion, music, reality in itself and life as a whole.

Through her work she has managed to work with different companies such as Netflix, Always Ultra commercial, KCB go ahead among others.

She has been nominated for best graffiti artist of the year at UNKUT hip hop award 2019/2020.

Blaine is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Fine art and Design at the Kenyatta University and managing her Artsy brand on the side @Twentyn9_apparel. A brand involves unique prints of her work on different types of apparel
