Day 08: Safara Wanjagi

Safara Wanjagi is a Kenyan based digital collage artist. Her collages are inspired by works of art from centuries ago, mainly highlighting people of colour who were often hidden in the background of paintings. She aims to bring these figures to the forefront by making them the focus of her collages, stylized with a colourful halo.

Her past work includes posters, website hero images, social media graphics, and film vignettes.
